Xiaomi Mi4 : Fix Slow GPS Lock

I've been using Xiaomi Mi4 for 1 month, and I got a slow GPS Lock on this device when I just runs some apps that use GPS on a complete stand still (I'm not moving anywhere), but when I'm in the middle of driving something, the GPS locked very fast and no problem at all.

So I assume that, this is a software setting that deny the GPS to lock when device not in a moving condition. Then I try to add some custom script in the GPS.conf file.

Here are the complete methods that I tried and works for me:

I have some experience in this case (GPS problem). I tried this simple way to fix the GPS lock much faster.
My tips:

Instructions:
1. Get an app like Root Explorer or something like this. (download here in playstore : download)
2. Install Root Explorer
3. Find your GPS.conf on etc/ folder (don't forget to make a backup for the file)
4. find this line:

#Test
NTP_SERVER=time.gpsonextra.net

5. try to change like this:
for asia

#Test
#NTP_SERVER=asia.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=0.asia.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=1.asia.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=2.asia.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=3.asia.pool.ntp.org

change the word 'asia' into 'europe', 'oceania', 'north-america', 'south-america', or 'africa'.

6. and also add these lines:
for Indonesia

#Test
#NTP_SERVER=id.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=0.id.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=1.id.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=2.id.pool.ntp.org
NTP_SERVER=3.id.pool.ntp.org

change the 'id' with your country code, complete code search in this link>
hxxp://www.pool.ntp.org/zone/@ (replace 'xx')

7. find this line:

# DEBUG LEVELS: 0 - none, 1 - Error, 2 - Warning, 3 - Info
# 4 - Debug, 5 - Verbose
# If DEBUG_LEVEL is commented, Android's logging levels will be used
DEBUG_LEVEL = 2

change into this:

# DEBUG LEVELS: 0 - none, 1 - Error, 2 - Warning, 3 - Info
# 4 - Debug, 5 - Verbose
# If DEBUG_LEVEL is commented, Android's logging levels will be used
DEBUG_LEVEL = 3

7. save & exit , and then reboot you device

8. Install "GPS Status Test & Fix" (download here: download ), or you can also use other similar apps.

9. find some open air or in a room with good signal. Run the "GPS Status Test & Fix", Reset GPS and Get Xtra data after that.

10. DONE

I hope its help you all to Fix Slow GPS Lock on your Xiaomi Mi4, and maybe it also works for other device too.

note: I use sMIUI ROM when I try this methods
